Buying and merchandising was a module which required a sense of consumer awareness, trend interpretation skills, sourcing and budgeting, supply chain management, range planning, stock management and critical path management. The module provided crucial education on the role of the integration between the buyer and merchandiser in industry. It was asked that we create a range for George at ASDA. This involved producing critical paths, a range plan and carrying out a competitive shop. Skills on InDesign and Excel were utilised within this module.
